Privacy policy
This site is currently a single early access form, so the amount of personal data we hold is small. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over it. Last updated 5 August 2026.
Who we are
Valtaic (“Valtaic”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. We are based in the United Kingdom and can be reached at hello@valtaic.io.
What we collect
The only personal data this site asks for is the email address you enter on the early access form, together with the date and time you submitted it. Our hosting and infrastructure providers also process standard technical data for every request, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps, in order to keep the site running securely.
Why we process it, and our legal basis
We use your email address for one purpose: to contact you when we open general access, in roughly the order people joined. We rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis under UK GDPR, on the basis that responding to a request you have actively made is a reasonable and expected use of that information. We do not use your email for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond that single notification.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run this site: Supabase for database storage and Vercel for hosting. Both act as data processors on our instructions and are contractually restricted from using your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party.
International transfers
Our database is hosted in the United Kingdom. Where an infrastructure provider processes data outside the UK or European Economic Area, for example as part of a global hosting or content delivery network, that transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until we send the general access invitation and for a short period afterward, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever happens first. We do not keep early access data indefinitely once it has served its purpose.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Security
Access to the underlying database is restricted so that the public form can only add new entries, not read, modify, or delete existing ones. Data is encrypted in transit between your browser and our servers.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to how it is processed, and to request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email hello@valtaic.io and we will act on it directly, no form or process required. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator.
Changes to this policy
As the product develops beyond this early access page, our data practices will too, and we will update this policy to reflect that and revise the date at the top.
